This is the oldest thing a barber does and the one most shops have stopped doing properly. Hot towels to soften the beard, lather worked in by hand, a straight razor, and a second pass where it needs one. Cold towel and balm to close.
It takes the beard off rather than tidying it. If what you want is your beard kept and shaped, that is a Beard Trim, and the two get confused often enough that it is worth saying plainly.

What's the difference between a beard trim and a hot towel shave?
A Beard Trim is 15 minutes of shape, length and a clean line through the cheek and neck. The Hot Towel Shave is the full thirty-minute ritual: hot lather, straight razor, towels and balm, and it takes the beard off rather than tidying it.
How long does an appointment take?
A Buzz Cut is 15 minutes, a Fade / Style Cut 30, and a Re-Style 45. Cut and beard together runs 45 minutes, and a Hot Towel Shave is 30. We don't double-book. The time you book is the time you get.
