Same Road, Ten Minutes West
Bentleigh East is not short of barbers. What it is short of is a shop that has been cutting on the same street since 2006, took Business of the Year at the 2026 national barber awards, and will put you back in the same chair with the same barber next month. Centre Rd runs the entire way here. That is the whole of the navigation.
Getting Here From Bentleigh East
There is no train from Bentleigh East, which is why most people drive it, and driving it is genuinely simple: Centre Rd is the same road at both ends. Whether you are coming off East Boundary Rd, Mackie Rd or anywhere along the strip, you point west and keep going until the shopfront at 375 is on your left. No turns worth mentioning.
Park behind the shop or in the back streets running off Centre Rd. It is the same advice we give everyone, and the reason we are not precious about walk-ins. If you have got a park and ten minutes, that is usually enough for a Buzz Cut or a Beard Trim.
If you would rather not drive, the 703 runs the length of Centre Rd and puts you on the footpath outside. Check the timetable before you rely on it; we would rather you got here than got here on our say-so.

Worth Passing A Few
There are barbers between you and us and we are not going to pretend otherwise. The case for the extra ten minutes is the floor: Business of the Year at the 2026 national awards, and Alex in the Hall of Fame the same night.

The Same Hands Each Time
Pick your barber when you book and you get them again next month. A cut that holds for four weeks is mostly a barber who remembers what they did last time, which is the part a rotating chair cannot give you.

Know The Price Before You Leave
Every service and every price is published. Worth a look before a ten-minute drive: you should know what you are paying before you turn the key, not at the counter afterwards.

Prices, Before You Drive
I'm in Bentleigh East. Is it worth driving to Bentleigh for a haircut?
That is your call and it depends what you want. If you need a tidy-up before Friday, the closest chair is the right chair. If you want a fade that still looks deliberate in week four, or a barber who knows your hair without being told, that is what the extra ten minutes buys. Try us once and judge it on the cut.
How long does it take to drive from Bentleigh East to Centre Rd Bentleigh?
Around ten minutes in ordinary traffic, straight west along Centre Rd with no turns to speak of. Allow longer at school pick-up and on Saturday mornings, which are the two busiest windows on the strip.
Can I just turn up, or should I book from Bentleigh East?
Walk-ins are welcome Monday to Saturday. But if you are driving over, book. It is the difference between a ten-minute drive to a chair and a ten-minute drive to a wait. Booking also lets you name your barber.
